Jetpack Settings

For additional security, the SIM card inside your Jetpack can be locked with a PIN code. When locked, the PIN code must be entered before the Jetpack will connect to the internet.

Default PIN is 1111

Entering an incorrect PIN too often will permanently lock your SIM and you will be unable to use the Jetpack. You will need to contact Verizon customer support to unlock the SIM.

If not already inserted, follow the instructions below to install your 4G LTE SIM Card.

  1. Lift the SIM slot cover by placing your fingernail in the cutout on the side of the Jetpack and pop the cover open.
  2. Remove the SIM Card from the holder, and slide the notched edge of the SIM Card into the SIM slot with the Verizon logo facing up.
  3. Close the SIM slot cover.

* If the SIM card is inserted with the Jetpack already on, please turn your Jetpack off and, then turn back on to make your Jetpack detects the new SIM card successfully.

Your Jetpack is not able to identify the SIM Card.
Please make sure your SIM is registered on Verizon network.

For SIM card registration, please contract Verizon Service at any Verizon Wireless store.
You have entered incorrect SIM PIN too many times. The SIM is now permanently locked. Next time you power on your Jetpack, you will be asked to enter PUK to unlock the SIM. Please contact Verizon customer support.
